We took our Coyote swap product lineup on the road to see what was going on in the Hot Rod market. Our destination was Columbus Ohio for the 19th Annual PPG Nationals held by Goodguys. We had visited the Goodguys event in Orlando the year before and liked the format. Naturally to get the most reach we had to join their biggest event, so off to Ohio we went.
After arriving after a long 18 hour commute, we setup our booth and hoped for the best. These events are dominated by Chevrolet powered machines and other non Ford builds. We were blown away to see that there was in deed much Ford based builds out there and some that were beyond expectation. Awesome Street Machines packed with the latest powertrain products and done tastefully. We found by talking to many of the participants, spectators, and vendors that the Coyote is the way everyone is going and that our brackets and 6r80 Control Pack are just what they need to get it done.
Along with visit we got the chance to take our newly completed 97 Cobra both to the drag strip and compete in the auto cross. Our new setup on the car included a full Maximum Motorsports suspension, CCW Daytona Wheels, Wilwood Performance Brakes, all new PBH 6r80 control pack wtih PBH built 6r80, and ARH Longtube Headers. Goodguys does a stellar job of keeping the event moving by offering trips to the strip, nightime cruises, poker runs, and the autocross. After doing the event in Columbus we are hooked and look forward to doing it again soon.
