We have been monitoring inquiries related to our transmission cooler kits and listened to our customers. We were offering our 6r80 10r80 transmission cooler kits with fans that when wired would be one all the time. Something that could be improved. An In line thermostat was needed to do so. We found this great kit that would bolt right onto the supplied fittings in our 6r80 10r80 AN conversion kit and have provision for a 180 degree on and 165 degree off thermostat. All that is needed is to run your power wire to the switch and then to the fan. The -8an male and female fitting makes installation in line very simple.
With installation of this thermostat, the cooling fan will now turn on in sync with the factory thermostat in the transmission that restricts flow to the cooler before reaching operating temperature.
