After a hard fought weekend at the MIR, the Lund Racing team can walk away knowing a few things;

  1. They have a dedicated group of guys.
  2. Jon Sr is a wild man!
  3. They have reset the 6R80 ET record with an IRS car.
  4. Hard landings suck.
  5. What the sky looks like mid wheelie.

They worked their butt’s off this weekend while making some memorable passes. The record was reset on Thursday but while backing it up the 6R80 they had been running for some time finally fatigued an oem Main Shaft. Luckily we had just refreshed a back up unit for them with some new parts soon to be available via PBH from Bluestreak Performance. This Car has our Proven 4R200 hub installed which helps gearing the car quite a bit. Additionally the PBH Billet intermediate shaft, Raybestos GPZ frictions, and modified center support from PBH all reside in this 6R80. Lund Racing has been a bit part of developing the 4R200 calibration for customer use. They are also responsible for the most attempts at breaking the hub and failing since it continues to hold up under all circumstances.

We look forward to their synopsis of the weekend and even Alejandro Fores’s videos with all that happened. We have a feeling there is a lot to cover there.
