Godzilla Swap: Video of A Running and Driving Godzilla Swapped Mustang
Paul Svinicki of Paul’s High Performance is an industry staple when it comes to Ford Performance. He has been at the forefront of many Ford Racing ventures including the Cobra Jet program. He has recently completed one of the first Godzilla swaps on a S197 racecar chassis left over from his racing program. It seemed to be the perfect home to test the all new Godzilla V8 sooooo they wedged one in there. Using custom engine motor plates and adapters to mate the Rossler TH400, the 3280lb race car came together in Paul’s shop. With the engine being so new to the market you can imagine that almost everything was one off custom to make this all work. Even the control pack was something custom just to get the testing done. We hope to have more on that in the future.
In the video below you can see Paul introduces you to the test mule and shows you what its made of.
Check out the first pass on the Godzilla setup
In this video you can see and here the Godzilla lay down a 10.97 @122mph. Keep in mind these are the first few successful passes on this stock sealed engine. There is more power on the table and some testing to do.
We congratulate Paul and his team for getting this Godzilla rolling and look forward to what comes of this program.
