The team from Farm Truck Racing out of Texas has just completed a Coyote Swap on a 96 full size Bronco. These swaps have been done before and this is another fine example of how they can turn out. What caught our eye was the updated front and rear suspension. The crown vic front suspension has found itself on a ton of vintage F100 trucks, but seeing it on this 96′ was a bit of a new look. Billy Palumbo of Farm Truck Racing points out that they even used the 05 Vic rear end without flipping or notching on the suspension. For power, FTRTX opted for a Gen 1 F150 5.0L Coyote and 6R80 transmission. To get things wired up and running they gave us the call for our Body and Transmission harness to make sure wiring was a plug and play installation. They also opted for our Evap delete plate, upper radiator hose adapter, and our 6r80 transmission cooler fittings. The truck is also Lund Racing tuned to ensure all systems are working to the top potential and driving like a stock Coyote should.

Another stand out look to this swapped Bronco was the departure from the traditional off road meats down to some LMR SVE GT350R wheels. The bronze finish looks killer on the SUV and really gives it a sleek look.

The truck is a daily driver and will be getting plenty of miles by the owner. We imagine it will also get tons of light to light romps with the new powerplant. Make sure to follow @farmtruckracingTX on Instagram to check out more on this build and many others coming up. Billy from FTRTX pointed out that now that the truck is up and running with no bugs they will be adding some performance mods to help the Coyote under the hood really put down some power.
