Justin Supernant of Hoonigan Racing contacted us mid 2019 about a SEMA project they were planning on putting together. This project would end up being a 93 Cobra that was void of its oem powertrain. To replace it, Justin picked up a Ford Performance 5.2 Aluminator XS Coyote engine and backed it with a race inspired Sadev Sequential Transmission. The car got a full compliment of the highly sought after Maximum Motorsports suspension and Custom Stainless Works 2″ primary long tube headers. The Holley engine management put it all together and layed down over 600rwhp according to Justin. Redline is reported to be over 8000rpm and as you will see in the video, it sounds like it is.

While 5.2L XS is spinning up and bouncing off the rev limiter it is of note to remember that the PBH Speed Drive is handling all the accessory drive duties. So keeping the belts in place, alternator charging, water pump spinning, AC compressor cooling, and Power Steering pump pressurizing is part number PBH-1111 from our catalog. By watching the video you can see that the PBH Speed Drive is up to the task and ready for more.

Look for Justin and his team to be out on the Optima Ultimate Street Car challenge in 2020. From the looks of it we will have another killer Ford on the course to help keep the Blue Oval up front.

So watch this video to get an earful of high revving, tire shredding, Coyote rev limiter hitting, Gear “Fisting” fun as they lay into this one of a kind build.

Thank you Justin and keep it #pbhequipped
