New Shelby GT500 Performance Parts

The latest product from Power By The Hour is the X.B.A. Inlet for 2.3L TVS owners. PBH’s elbow is a high flow casting replacing the factory unit with no porting necessary. The all new inlet also allows use of Kenne Bells 168mm Monoblade throttle body. The combination of the two has proven to add significant gains on the dyno. Testing has shown 30-40 RWHP gains over existing mono blade designs.

We recently tested the new X.B.A. package on Shelby Pete’s 2014 GT500 that already had a significant power mod setup. Pete’s GT500 had already recieved JLT’s 127mm CAI, 15% ATI balancer, VMP’s 2.4 upper pulley, FRPP dual 65mm throttle body, ARH 1-7/8″ longtube headers with off road midpipe, a Lund Racing tune, and 98 octane fuel to make a wopping 759rwhp and 808rwtq at 19.5psi of boost.

After adding a PBH E85 fuel system which consist of dual Max flow fuel pump boosters from Vortech, Injector Dynamics ID1300 injectors, JLT 155mm Carbon CAI, the XBA inlet package with Kenne Bell throttle body, and all to important tuning from Lund Racing power increased to 854rwhp and 879rwtq with just under 19psi. That is a pick up of 95rwhp and 71rwtq.

E85 definetly helped the cause, testing has shown the fuel upgrade to produce about 50rwhp more over a pump 93octane tune. The rest was all XBA.
