We have developed yet another Coyote swap Specific kit for installers. This one is centered around the Composite oil pan found on all Gen 3 2018-up F150 and Mustang engines. The issue is that the composite pan does take up more room and is not easily modified. The solution up to now was an aftermarket pan that in some cases required changing the oil pump just to ensure that the pickup tube was compatible. We have developed and release a complete 8qt Steel oil pan conversion kit as a new solution. At the heart of the kit is an oem Gen 1/2 Mustang Steel construction oil pan. We also include a new modified gasket with windage tray, PBH modified pick up tube, and all the hardware needed to complete the installation.
The pick up tube is a custom PBH design that allows the earlier generation design to work with the newer Gen 3 oil pump. The Gen 3 Coyote oil pan has the pick up tube assembled as part of it which means the pump no longer has the two bolt flange to fasten the traditional pick up tube. We take care of all of that and we keep it oem quality. All pick up tubes are welded here in house at PBH on our sample engine to ensure it will line up and bolt down everytime.
