We recently spotted that the guys from Hot Rod Garage Tony Angelo and Lucky Costa were taking on a Coyote Swap in a New Edge Mustang (99-04). They had started the swap and posted it up on their social media and PBH team member Chrisitan Papa reached out to them to see if they needed any parts or support. Sure enough he got a response and was able to supply a few solutions for the project. In the episode now streaming on the Motor Trend app, Lucky and Tony purchase a gen 1 F150 engine and mate it to the cars original TR3650 manual transmission. They utilized our PBH Body Harness to wire the powertrain up and the PBH Speed Drive to reuse the oem ac compressor from the 2V and Power Steering pump. Additionally we supplied a custom Fuel system to ensure the new engine was getting all the right fueling.

The end result is a Mustang that has a new lease on life with upgraded components from Steeda, BBK, and many more. The old 260hp 2V is gone and replaced with a 360+hp Coyote. Future plans include MORE POWER and some driving events to showcase the capabilities of this low budget Hot Rod.
