Our friends and partners in performance Lund Racing did some testing yesterday at a private rental. At the test were multiple Lund Racing vehicles being run for R&D or just shake downs. Among the rides was were two cars that have been to PBH and are part of our performance history. The Grey Goose as its called was the development vehicle for the Fluid Turbo System that PBH was involved with along side Lund Racing. The Grey Goose never did completed, it was always a test bed for different reasons and found itself on the cutting edge of performance. That led to much downtime and never really realizing its potential. What was learned from it at that time was passed on to many customers and builds.
Lund Racing has since taken the ole girl apart and had it completely redone. A lot of the work PBH had done was omitted but all in the name of making sure that Goose was ready to fly. And fly it did! After a engine build from Keith Rhea, Full chassis overhaul from 1320Fab, and a slew of UPR/Viking suspension components the NEW Goose is rolling. Also of note is that the Transmission in this car is a 6R80 and it is utilizing all the latest from PBH included the 4R200 hub which improves durability and gearing. Controlling the entire powertrain is an off the shelf Gen 2 Ford Performance control pack with Lund Racing tuning of course. So as wild as the car is, there is not stand alone or crazy controllers getting this Goose down the track. A feather in the cap to oem pcm and Lund Racing tuning for sure.
The Grey Goose continues to improve joining the rest of the leaders in 6R80 performance with a 7.86@182mph.

Another build from PBH history is Randy’s GT500. Previously built at PBH for a local racer and dubbed “The Tax Collector”, the ex grudge racing snake has undergone some safety upgrades and had the full interior put back into it. Randy tapped the driving skills of Alejandro Flores to do some shake down passes. The result? wheels up on the launch, 8.1@170mph with a 1.21 60ft. This GT500 is still proving to be one fast ride
@ydbt4life wheeling @randy_m_h 2014 GT500 built by @pbhperformance to a 8.1 at almost 170 MPH with a 1.21 60 foot!! This car is almost 4000 lbs. Has a @whipplesuperchargers 4.5 Rear feed. TH400. Boost only. Still a OEM ECU.

Also at the track under the Lund Racing flag was their 2020 GT500
One more in the 2020. Little Torco mixed in this and added timing. I had launch rpm too low so it bogged. But I’m happy!…

Tuners Dakota and Brandon out of Lund Racing also were present with their rides. Both Brandon and Dakota were deep into the 9’s and over 150 mph with their Turbo rides. One a S197 and the other an S550. Both are utilizing the 4R200 hub.
